Hi, fellow tiny ones!
My name is Aly (and yes it’s short for something) and I’m a tiny person with large ambitions. Which is to say that I’m a very short Italian, which makes everything large from my point of view. When people say, “How’s the weather down there?” they mean it literally. The rain reaches me a few seconds later than everyone else. Currently, I live on a small isle in the South West of England. I am far too familiar with the problems of public transportation, fog, abandoned churches and runaway cats. Who knew there were so many?
I read too much, slack off on reviewing (because the excuse ‘I’ll do it later’ is incredibly addicting) and love to write creepy thrillers that make even me worry about my sanity. When I’m not doing any of the three, I am either playing copious amounts of Skyrim (dragons! Elves! Wars!), gorging myself on American Horror Story, Game of Thrones and cake, or napping.
I nap a lot.
Which brings me to my next point:
Sloths. For many years, I have believed Sloths are my spirit animal. They’re cute, fluffy and can sleep for England. What’s there not to like? Ever since I met Inge, I realised that we are two peas in a pod, because her love for sloths can almost rival my own. Almost.
As a reader, I don’t have a favourite genre. As long as it’s fiction, I will read pretty much anything, which makes finding favourites both a challenge and an entertainment. My favourite series has to be The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater which is fantasy, and I have an awful weakness for Tana French’s books. All of her books.
That’s all for now! I love making new friends, so feel free to find me on the following social media sites:
(If you follow me on Instagram, beware of the hundreds of cat, kitten and book pictures I’ll bombard you with. You have been warned.)
Have a nice day!
